I decided that I wanted to earn my RN quickly, and during my search I found Herzing University. Everything seemed like a good fit, and I was even able to work while studying. I decided to enroll in classes.
Right away, I had a great experience with Herzing. The same day I requested more information, I heard back from their staff. The same person that reached out continued to check in on me every semester to ask how I was doing and if I needed any assistance. This same energy came from my teachers as well, and everyone at Herzing helped keep me on track and successful. Thank you so much for all your help, everyone!
Unfortunately, I had some family members and friends pass while I was studying. With a bit of help from the staff and faculty at Herzing, I was able to keep myself on track during this hard time. Honestly, it felt like everyone cared about my personal life just as much as they did my academics.
If things didn’t work out or got tough, I asked Herzing to rearrange my course schedule. This was so helpful, as every class I took was important for my degree. In a career like nursing you must adapt often, so adapting to my chaotic schedule was a good way to practice for my career!
As a grad, my next step will be working as a PCU nurse. I also plan on continuing my education in the future!
To all future and current students: there is an end! You may not see it and there may be detours along the way, but it is there, and it is achievable! Never give up!
